Anna Cullinane Campbell is a writer and director.

She is a BBC New Creative, and a Channel 4 Random Acts Alum.

Anna’s first short, Dancer of the Future, which she wrote and directed, was broadcast by Channel 4 in 2016. Her animated short Flesh, which she wrote and produced, won the RTS Midlands Best Animation in 2020.

The subsequent year, she was nominated four times as producer at the RTS Midlands Awards 2021. Her shorts as producer have also screened at Aesthetica Film Festival, LSFF and Clérmont Ferraud.

She has since directed The Whale Tattoo, a short commissioned by Rural Studios for Hay Festival 2023.

Anna was Director’s Assistant on forthcoming Hot Milk, by Rebecca Lenkiewicz. She works freelance as Kate Glover’s development assistant for her film production company Never / Sleep Pictures, and as an Agent’s Assistant at United Agents Ltd.
